When I painted this work of art I went to a beautiful Hawaaian or Caribbean Island in my mind. Florida also. It was a peaceful place with everything that I had ever imagined in my quest to "Get away from it all!" The beach, the sunset, the flora and those of the animal kingdom that call this beautiful place their home. The birds flying across the sky represents freedom and glee!

I now live on that Island surrounded by Palm Trees, Osprey and Eagles.


I absolutely love this painting. The colors literally jump off the print. I hope that it adds some "Island" flavor to your life!
