Giclee Print of Flowers in a Landscape Garden in a Mixed Media Acrylic and water color painting. Red, Blue, green
The history of the English Garden is interesting. Peasants revolting against authority stole flowers from the aristocrats they worked for and planted them (usually one at a time as they snuck them out) around their cottages.
The result was a willy nilly, unorganized (no little ducks in a row) mismatched array of beautiful flowers. A garden that you would find in a natural setting. Flowers growing over each other and under each other. I love cottage and English Garden styles. I hope that you do too!
