Even though it compared to the 2G model this is a little thicker. The size is forgiven when you consider how much technology this phone packs. The 3.5-inch touchscreen is multitouch compatible which puts it light-years ahead of other touch phones. The screen resolution is a very sharp 480x320 which makes looking at cover art a pleasure to do. As an mp3 player, this phone succeeds mightily. Lots of audio formats are accepted including AAC, MP3, and WAV. There is a very handy 3.5-mm headphone jack on the top of the phone which connects to a variety of headphones. There are lots of great connections available including Tri-Band 2G and Quad-Band 3G. There is also wi-fi to surf the internet. The battery life of this phone is very strong with up to 5 hours of talk-time on a 3G network and 10 hours of 2G. 300 hours of stand-by time enable this phone to be by your side even when not in use.
