Nike and the Brazilian Football Association (CBF) jointly launched a new jersey for the Brazilian National Team America's Cup, including a white special edition jersey to commemorate the Brazilian team's first summit in American football a century ago.
In 1919, Brazil became the host of the America's Cup for the first time (also known as the South American Football Championship at that time). The Brazilian team in white made history in that cup game. For the first time, it became the king of American football and opened a period for Brazil Success journey of football becoming a national symbol.
Blending the classic texture of football in the early 1920s and presenting it in the style of contemporary sports, this special edition America's Cup jersey pays tribute to the beginning of that glorious journey 100 years ago.
