Includes all the tools you need to create and output advanced cut vinyl and router jobs, plus has color assignment and output capabilities for all GERBER EDGE® series and GERBER MAXXâ„¢ 2 thermal transfer printers. Includes ARTPath software.
OMEGAâ„¢ CS 5.0
Includes all the tools you need to create and output cut vinyl and router jobs, however it cannot output to thermal transfer printers.
OMEGAâ„¢ Layout Station 5.0
Allows for complete design activities without any output. Show customers concepts in the front office. Design on a laptop away from the shop. Add design stations and save files to a network folder for output.
OMEGAâ„¢ Plot Station 5.0
Includes all the output capabilities of OMEGA CP with no design capabilities. Offers additional cutting, rendering, and even routing capabilities with no design features. Use this station to keep output devices separate from design areas.

As of February 1, 2012, OMEGA 5.0 is the standard OMEGA software version. This release of OMEGA offers many time-saving enhancements for all types of professional output devices such as Gerber EDGE thermal transfer printers, Gerber vinyl-cutting plotters, Gerber routers and other devices.

OMEGA 5.0 Computer Hardware and Software Requirements
OMEGA 5.0 is compatible with:
• Microsoft Windows® XP SP3 (32 bit recommended),
• Vista® (32 bit recommended), or
• Windows 7® (32 or 64 bit, but see other 64 bit notes below).
• 64 bit Operating System Notes
• 3D Autocarve and Gerber Braille Interpreter will not run on 64 bit systems, even if upgrading from a
previous version of OMEGA.
• If running a Gerber Edge or Gerber Edge 2 with a parallel port, you MUST run a 32 bit system. Gerber
offers a USB to parallel port option that can interface EDGE and EDGE 2 printers to 64 bit Windows 7
operating systems.
• The EDGE FX uses an Ethernet port and does not require any additional adapters for 64 bit use. |
