This amazing child carrier was purchased new in July '09 and was used once. It is in absolute pristine condition. The Kelty TC 2.5 is the top of the line in the Kelty Transit Carrier series. Like the lower priced TC 2.0 and TC 1.0, the TC 2.5 is usable as both a child carrier and an everyday backpack. The TC 2.5 is essentially for day trips. Suitable for urban use or afternoon hiking excursions, but not the ideal choice for extended hiking trips. If your plan were to take a trip to the mountains or a weekend long expedition, the aluminum frame and sophisticated suspension system of the Kelty Adventure would be a much better carrier. The TC 2.5 has a light aluminum frame in the back, but is better used for trips to the park or shopping than a two-day hike.

The TC 2.5 has the most features, of any of the Kelty Transit Carrier series. Like the other two TCs, the 2.5 has a large main storage compartment, a removable diaper bag for easy access to necessities, and pockets for your cell phone and a padded waist belt for personal items. The adjustable shoulder and sternum straps are well padded, and the child cockpit is collapsible and designed for your little passengers comfort. The TC 2.5 reflects a number of included accessories, that you would otherwise have to purchase separately.
