The latest version of PFTrack has just been released, and it looks like The Pixel Farm dev team have been quite busy, packing in a lot of new features, Python scripting and even a new architecture in this latest release. The full list of features have yet to be released but here are just some of the things you can expect in PFTrack 2011
The new versionhas been re-written and is now a 64-bit, GPU-accelerated application that also incorporatesnode-based flowgraph architecture, something only previously available in PFMatchit. There are new tools for match-moving, scene preparation and image processing, so you can do new things like track deformable objects such as an actors face while speaking neat.
Studios will appreciatethe new fully-integrated Python scripting and workflow customisation tools, which give you access to the underlying metadatamanagement core of PFTrack 2011 for easier integration within studio workflows.
